Melody Hornady, NP went to University of Texas Health in San Antonio. She has been an acute care nurse practitioner for two years. She was inspired by her experience in Uganda. where she saw two young patients improve their health no matter the circumstances. Melody says "It is truly an inspiration to be able to see my patients get better daily".

Getting to Know Melody Hornady:
In my freetime, I love to be out in nature and hike with my daughter, Mirela. I typically wear her in a backpack carrier and it gives me so much peace! I also love to do international medical missions and traveling as a family when we can. My favorite country I have visited was Thailand!
