Bob Rice is a Family Nurse Practitioner with an extensive nursing background. Mr. Rice had been a nurse for over 29 years with 11 of those years as a Nurse Practitioner. Mr. Rice is an excellent communicator and a passionate patient advocate.
Bob Rice first became a nurse, then a Nurse Practitioner because he enjoys helping others. He finds it wonderful and rewarding. Helping people to be well is his primary goal.
Bob Rice is now seeing patients Monday- Friday from 8:30 am- 5:00 pm.

Getting to Know Bob Rice:
Bob Rice grew up in a small town outside of Lubbock, TX. He has always enjoyed the outdoors and nature. He enjoys nothing more than getting his hands dirty in his garden and enjoying the fruits of those labors. Mr. Rice also raises chickens and remains very involved in his community. In 2016 through 2019, Mr. Rice served on our very own Big Bend Regional Hospital District board and is a volunteer and board member of the Food Pantry of Fort Davis currently.
